CHARLOTTE 49ER FOOTBALL INITIATIVE

There is a new movement in town, and its at Charlotte49erfootball.com. It is about time someone takes some initiative to get the word out and get the ball rolling, and the time has come.

If we want football at UNC Charlotte, we have to pledge the funds to get the ball rolling. The great thing is, even as students we can pledge and we wouldn't have to actually donate the money until the program gets started, which would be after almost all of you are graduated. They want to know that people are serious about giving money for a football program, and this is the best way to do it. Hey everyone. There is a free show on campus February 12th from 4pm-10pm at AfterHours. It features Far-Less (Tooth And Nail Records) and House of Fools (Drive-Thru Records) along with other local bands. It's FREE and bound to be a great evening. Also, Far-Less has a new album coming out February 7th so go to there site and listen to a majority of it.

Halloween Costume Contest

I know this is a bit late, but you should have known it was coming! Its time for the 2005 CampusBlender Halloween Contest! It's the usual drill: whore yourself up in a costume, take a picture of it, and send it to Partyincollege@gmail.com Take pictures of your friends' costumes as well and submit them also. There are no requirements, just email your picture and a brief description of your costume, your username, and if you'd like your name associated with the picture or just be anonymous. Prizes are too be determined.

I'll give you up until Nov. 5th for submissions, then I'll post the worthy ones in a thread in The Party.
